Log in to Scholarship Universe and start answering questions to create your student profile. The first 6 sets of questions are all that are required to match to ALL institutional scholarships.
Make sure you answer the question “Do you have any of these academic scholarships?” with “I don’t have any of these scholarships.” If you answer N/A, you will not match to apply for this scholarship.
Scholarship UniverseThere are over 75 scholarships that fund the 1-Year Current Student Scholarship. Before, you only saw the application. Now, you match to the scholarships, and then can access the application.
Once you match to one or more of the 75+ scholarships that fund this scholarship, you can select “Apply” with any of them. It still stands that the one application will apply you towards all of the scholarships that you match. They will be checked at the top of the application.

It will take you to the matching questions directly for you to get them done. There are other questions that need to be answered for other scholarship funds, so make sure you finish your student profile.

If awarded, a student will need to be enrolled full time (12+ credits) each semester to receive funds.
Applicants with a 3.0 to 3.299 cumulative GPA may receive a $1,000 scholarship
Applicants with a 3.50 to 3.749 cumulative GPA may receive a $2,400 scholarship
Applicants with a 3.30 to 3.499 cumulative GPA may receive a $1,500 scholarship
Applicants with a 3.75 or above cumulative GPA may receive a $3,400 scholarship
1 Year Current Student Scholarships are intended for students who were not academically eligible upon admission, or who missed scholarship deadlines. Now, after completing 30 credit hours of higher education credits (15 of which must be earned at Utah Tech) they would like to be re-considered for academic scholarships.
1 Year Current Student Scholarships are awarded for one year and are based on availability of funds. Some of the funding is state-sponsored; however, many of these scholarships are funded through generous donations from our alumni, individuals, families, memorials, community members, businesses, and numerous organizations that support Utah Tech.
1 Year Current Student Scholarships require students to be full-time at 12 credit hours per semester (15 credits preferred). GPA’s must remain above 3.30 in order to be eligible to apply for the next academic year.
Students with more than 150 earned credits or a Bachelors’ Degree are not eligible for scholarship consideration.
Students who have no other classes to take prior to graduation can submit a Request for Part-time Scholarship Status for their scholarship. They must submit the form to the Scholarship Office prior to the start of school.
