Were you admitted prior to Summer 2024?

Are you a student whose time was cut short due to requirement changes?

This is a one time request to ask for up to 2 additional semesters of your academic scholarship due to requirement changes.

As long as you are maintaining eligibility and were awarded prior to Summer 2024 you will receive up to 2 semesters, but final decisions won’t be made until the end of any current semester.

DEADLINE: 2 weeks into the requested semester

Contract is required. 

 

What would make you ineligible for an extension?

• You are not meeting the GPA or credit requirements.
• Your original time was not cut short by the new academic scholarship requirements.

Extension Request

Were you admitted Summer 2024 or later?

Are you a student whose time was cut short due to college credits completed during high school?

This is a one time request to ask for up to 2 additional semesters of your academic scholarship due to requirement changes.

As long as you are maintaining eligibility and were awarded after Summer 2024 you will receive up to 2 semesters, but final decisions won’t be made until the end of any current semester.

DEADLINE: 2 weeks into the requested semester

Contract is required. 

 

What would make you ineligible for an extension?

• You are not meeting the GPA or credit requirements.
• You were awarded as an incoming transfer not an incoming freshman.
• You did not complete 24+ credits during high school.

Extension Request

This is a one time request to attend at less than your required number of credits for your scholarship for one semester. You can only request twice, but a separate form is needed for each request.

It is never a guaranteed approval, and decisions won’t be made until the end of any current semester.

DEADLINE: 2 weeks into the requested semester

Contract is required. 

 

What would make you ineligible to attend part time?

• Your request is not for an academic reason.
• You are requesting for your final semester of your Associates Degree.
• You have other classes you can take.
• You want to attend part time while working full time.
• You fail to meet the academic requirements in the semesters prior to your request.
